Group Exhibition with Peter Callesen, Stinne Bo, Mathias Malling
Kastrupgårdsamlingen and Vendsyssel Kunstmuseum
The Dark Side was exhibited at Kastrupgårdsamlingen and Vendsyssel Kunstmuseum interpreted by 4 paper artists.
The project is grasping the flooding in Pakistan 2022. Looking into the Sindh region, Ajrakh Block printing as a force of nature and the cotton plant as a microcosmos for worldwide catastrophic events. The Indus River in Pakistan takes and gives life and was also of great importance in the Indus Valley Civilisation. The artworks are small stories bound to the river, the cotton plant and paper and the Sindh region. An attempt to understand the beauty and the affected people to understand what was lost for all the affected people in the flooding 2022.
